All About Anita
My name is Anita – I own and run A-Nita Pooch Dog Grooming.
I’ve been grooming dogs professionally for over 10 years, since I got my City & Guild Diploma Qualification (Levels 2 and 3.) I’ve always had a passion for pups, and taking care of them and making them look their best is my idea of a dream job!
I run A-Nita Pooch from my personal, home-based salon in Horsham. This way, I can make sure every aspect of your dog’s care is taken care of personally – the salon is fully insured and stocked with the best in dog grooming equipment.
Since my City & Guild qualification, I’ve kept up my learning and professional doggy development. I am First Aid trained and DBS (CRB) checked. All my electrical equipment has been PAT tested and maintained by a qualified electrician.
You’ve probably already read about my one-to-one, cage-free approach – but it’s worth repeating! For me, it’s essential all the dogs I work with are chilled out, happy and ready for the pampering of a lifetime.
No two dogs are the same, and every pet has it’s own “process.” Whether young or old, playful or mild, we’ll work together to ensure the approach that’s right for your pet.

The Grooming Process
A-nita Pooch strives to make every grooming session an enjoyable and relaxing experience for your pooch. To help make visits as smooth as possible, owners are kindly asked to encourage their dog to have a natural toilet break before their appointment and to allow at least 48 hours after any flea treatment before grooming.
Every full grooming session includes nail trimming, ear care, a general health check, and complimentary Blueberry Facial Wash, Oatmeal Paw Balm and Nose Balm to keep your dog feeling fresh and comfortable.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, 48 hours’ notice would be greatly appreciated so the slot can be offered to another dog on the waiting list; please telephone or text 07969 974935.
